Two sides of the moon

"Two sides of the moon" - poetry by Roshan James, Wellesley, Ontario, Canada

Text:

I’ve landed on this rock

After circling round the sun

Coming so close to burning

Out of time

Out of breath

From dodging meteors

Inhaling stardust

And I know you

Found in the same way

A landing place

On this rock

Two sides of the moon

Darker with our shadows

And brighter with our hope

Of getting closer
