A bit about me: I’m a business owner and writer. I mix the two sometimes….and sometimes I don’t. I’m also a mom with little ones who aren’t as little as when I first launched Quill and Curio in 2013. I grew up in Whitby, Ontario, Canada, and I now live just outside of Kitchener-Waterloo. I’m an avid traveler, a healthy mix of intro/extroversion, a chameleon by day, and a YouTube-rabbit-hole-diver by night. Also, music is a bit of an obsession. Vinyl, Songza, car radio, piano playing, singing covers (badly, but I try), etc.

Life has a way of being beautifully unpredictable. I try to document some of my responses to noteworthy experiences. I also try to elucidate granular truth from everyday minutiae – sometimes there’s so much happening that we don’t see the amazing things taking shape in the small moments. I’ve been trying to use my writing to help me focus more on those little bits of daily intrigue…..because sometimes the little things amount to bigger things.
