Quietly cries the night

Text: This is one of those days when the words aren’t there To write about the dangers of love Or the bravery of unbound hope It’s a straight-up kind of day that bleeds tired Into a night that cries quietly For a morning that will come too soon

Enough

"Enough" poetry by Roshan James, Kitchener, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Text: At the end of some days, I need to sit myself down and realize I can stop That I did enough, I was enough and I will be even more than enough for tomorrow Because I tried – regardless of the result – I tried and I can rest now in gratitude
